Teracom TCW260 Energy Monitoring Module (Ethernet)

Teracom TCW260 energy monitoring module features galvanically isolated digital inputs, analog inputs, and an RS-485 interface.

All four digital inputs are S0 hardware compatible, enabling connection to up to four energy meters with S0 pulse outputs. These inputs can also accommodate general dry contact (ON/OFF) sensors.

The analog inputs support both current loop (0/20 mA) and voltage (0/10 V) modes, making them compatible with voltage and current transducers that provide appropriate analog outputs.

The RS-485 interface supports MODBUS RTU protocol, allowing communication with up to 24 registers or devices.

Description

All primary inputs—digital, analog, and MODBUS RTU registers—can be configured to create up to 24 channels. Channels can be defined as general (e.g., current, voltage, temperature) or cumulative (e.g., energy, volume). Each channel can be monitored numerically or visually through graphs via the standard web browser interface.

Each channel also supports up to 24 independent alarms, categorized into four types, with the option to view alarm trends graphically.

The module supports M2M communication over Ethernet using SNMP, HTTP API, and MODBUS TCP, enabling seamless integration into larger energy monitoring systems.
